The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

I hide all my secrets in water. ( Open)

I step outside the Cavern on Secrets, truly this place was named very well. We had hidden the young ones here and training them well until they now came following behind me as young teens. I turn my green optics onto them, no emotion showing from my eyes. I regretted having to kill my brothers only male child. The boy had been a whining insufferable fool. Pure joy had raced through my veins as I slaughtered him in front of his sisters. It had been a warning one the young ones had taken to heart.
Often through their training they had been punished physically. I had punished so my brother would not have to hard his own children. For years I have been my brothers boogey man. The one so many wolves whispered of into the dark. It was rumored I earned my scars by killing my own father. Yet I never told a soul. Instead I helped by brother take the power of king ship and did everything in my power to serve him.
I shake the memories from my skull, looking to Russia first. My eyes meeting hers. A silent warning. Often her sister Rai caused trouble to divert negative energy off of her sister. I had allowed Russia to leave as a means of controlling the small she wolf. Now though both teens stepping out of the caverns were well oiled machines. I had suspicions they would bolt one day and may betray us. I only hoped we got them young enough they did not remember their whore of a mother.
Yet, they were pack, family. I would need to show trust and hope our blood ran thicker than that of their weak mother. I step forward and nuzzle each young wolf-ess. Though at times they had been punished they had not been depraved of love. We may not be as loving as other wolf packs but even we knew every wolf need attention. Otherwise it could rot one's mind. Wolves were built to be family units, packs.
I tilt my head once. indicating we needed to move out. Today they were going home. They would meet the rest of the pack. their father had gone ahead to check out the pack defenses. see who was still around and who had up held the borders. I set a fast pace, my long limbs stretching and driving the girls hard. They had been conditioned to hold up to such measures. As we close near the border of the land, I follow my brothers trail.
Anger rises in quick flashes through my bodice. A challenger had been here and young Quirino's scent follow him not that of his mother. I did not worry for the boy I knew he would win. i had helped train him after all. yet the smell of wolves is faint. It makes my heart sick. I shake my head, I do not send up a call to alert my brother. I know he will meet us shortly in the clearing grounds the first pack meeting had been called.
All the scents are faint. I lift my nose to the air inhaling the scent of others. I could smell by brother and the older she wolf. yet not many others. pathetic pack. This pack needed a make over, clearly my brother and me should not have left or brought the pups her. Yet we had wanted to protect the weaker pack wolves. It had been a mistake is they so easily abandoned the borders of their home and territory. I curl my lip in disgust as I await any members left in this pack.
