Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Azure’s eyes locked with Rinoa’s for a minute and he looked away. He hated have her see him like this. He couldn’t believe he’d been so weak! Then Azure noticed the fawn and he realized that she’d brought his kill back. He wasn’t about to tell her that he’d been the one to kill it though. Azure watched Rinoa come closer and stiffened.

His hackles raised and he got ready to chase her off, but something stopped him. He wasn’t sure why he was letting her stay, he would rather starve than have Rinoa providing his meals. He watched her go back over to the fawn and relaxed a bit, his fur flattening again. He just stared at her when she spoke of the fawn’s mother, not giving any sign that he was the one the doe had chased off.

Azure Sky nodded his thanks to Rinoa for the food and began eating the fawn. His stomach growled very loudly as he dug in and his ears turned pink. When he finished he licked his thigh a bit and decided that was close enough to cleaning his leg. “Thanks for bringing prey,” he mumbled and looked out at the rain falling. He was annoyed at the awkwardness of the situation but he was stuck there. Drips of water ran down his fur from the rain because he wasn’t able to shake any of it off. He glanced at Rinoa and wondered what she was thinking… Probably something stupid and sappy.
