Dear Ms. Doyel,

This semester I enjoyed your enthusiasm. You seemed much more lively which made it easier to listen. I like how we were able to talk about real life happenings and world wide news stories. I feel like it was good for some students to be able to give their opinion on situations happening in the world in a place where everyone was listening and respecting their opinions. It also can allow us to feel more comfortable talking about situations and voicing our opinions. The only activity I remember doing this semester was Walk the Line. It didnít have a huge impact on me personally but I saw that it did on other students and really opened their eyes to situations in life that they do face or may face. I have discovered that I donít have a strong conscious bias. Of corse I automatically put people into buckets when I meet them or see them so that could be something that I need to be more aware of. Your information this semester was a lot broader and was more relatable for many ethnicities. I feel that you did a good job making students opinions feel like they mattered and that what they were saying was being herd. I think this semester was more relaxed within the group because we maybe felt more comfortable. So in the end I feel that second semester was a lot better than first semester. You have taught me a lot so thank you for that. I hope to us these tools and techniques in my life and journeys along the way.
