The red, black and tan brute moved with a swagger that was quite characteristic for him. His full red tail waved above his back and the sun glinted off his pristine coat as he moved down the river's bank. The feather necklace around his neck swayed in equal manner as the middle aged brute (though he would never admit to being 'old') kept going forward. He had waited for this time of the year. SPRING! The best time of the year! Not to hot, not to cold and the world was coming to life and warming up all the hunnies! That meant to him they would come out, lay out in the sun clear in sight and stop hiding in their little dens and caves so his soft green eyes could see them! Oh it was so nice!

He was grinning as he walked still with the little sway almost like he was dancing to a tune only he could hear. The birds were quite loud and the gurgle of the river in full force certainly did help brighten his mood though. Sylverant had yet to go back to his family. He had heard about everything that had happened at their home and to be honest, he was quite happy he didn't have a role in that little game. Sylv didn't hate fighting, but he had no obligation to fight in that war regardless of who was alpha, not like he ever lived there anyway, not like he ever would... Why would he? It was point less to risk his pretty face on something stupid like that. What was the point anyway? He never heard. Oh well.

The brute's musing had led him near a severely scarred tree. He looked at it for a time, the area thick with a scent that was his mother's. His tail flicked as he looked at the many broken branches and the large wound from burning on the very large oak tree. With a little huff, the handsome male sat down by the tree and looked over the small grassy bank and down at the river. The smile wasn't so strong on his maw now, but for now the male would relax and see who would come by.
