Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

I feel good; because I can say I have given a smile as a present – I’m not exactly the words best company but it gives a reason to help someone smile. It I could go around giving the world a reason to smile, believe me I would and I could solve the earth’s bad omens, and then believe me I would! I can officially call myself a solider and I am one step closer to fulfilling my best friend’s words. ‘Live your life.’ I find my lolling pink sponge retreating to my mouth and my mouth closing into a small smile. I like to call it, ‘a thinking smile’. With my thinking smile out, my honey orbs fix at the ground. And I don’t say anything, even when I hear the hushed words of the brute – ‘exactly.’ My haunches drop to the ground and I feel as if I am a dark and empty room, no adventures, no time. Just the wails of despairing wolves. And for a moment I feel like this brute must have felt; alone. My head shakes the one drop of tear off; I sit up properly and smile – wide. “Sorry ‘bout that, I was just thinking and when I think too much, it usually overwhelms me with memories.” I excuse myself, before muttering the word exactly. How did he mean it? The puzzle just would not fit together properly. A million pieces scattered around. “Thanks, Incondite, you have really helped me in a weird way. I haven’t had much company in my journey and the wolf I encountered first was a rude and ignorant boy. Expecting everyone to wait on him, but you have a blissful aura. So yeah, thanks.” I say with lots of gratitude mingled in with my voice. I mean it; I did.

‘It is?’ I question his word choice, what did he mean by that. I give him a puzzled look, my honey eyes full of curious questions. But I don’t speak, I have babbled too much; it is his turn to speak and he uses this opportunity to speak once again. ‘Go on, stand in it.’ I then realise that he had been standing in the rainbow. How and when had the rainbow settled itself on Incondite? I pick my body up, standing in a humble position before walking slowly towards the several beams of unusual light. My right front appendage lifts and pauses before settling into the light and then my limbs and before I know it I am sitting in the light. It feels no different on the outside but in the inside it makes you feel special. My muzzle lifts and I feel like breathing the whole rainbow in. I shuffle sideways so that only part of my bodice remains in its power. “Join me.” I whisper, my voice no longer a high and excited but soft and friendly, mysterious voice. A small and youthful smile plants on my kissers, I must look like a royal queen, sitting regal and full of pride – happiness, everywhere.

My golden honey pools (full of wonder and excitement.) retreat to the ground as I think through the next lyrics I am about to say to the lad. I didn’t want to sound full on nor scared. I wasn’t scared! Not of this brute, at least. “So...” I begin gently, before lifting my head to search for him, my eyes plant on his oceanic orbs. “Are we friends?” I ask, leaning forward ever so slightly for an answer, my spheres searching his face for any emotion, anger or something like that but I can’t gather any information.
The rainbow still full pelts down around me, half my body in, half my body out but I still feel as great as ever. I bask in it, taking the luxurious lights into my soul. Could it get any better? I doubt it; I continue to take in the light. And now the rain has come to a halt, the birds ruffle their feathers and fly out. Crossing the rainbow with much ease; oh how I would give to fly along with them. No matter how much I dream, though it will never, the dream of flying, come true. An eagle has taken a settle down by the upper rock no wolf can reach. It just sits there, its ebony beady eyes staring into my sunny ones. It’s beautiful; so handsome.
