During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Devil’s Angel thoughts relapsed the past as she patrolled the border, doing as her new ruler ordered his subjects to occupy themselves with. Each wolf there had been quite interesting in their own way. Except for Shetani that is. The titan had been an arrogant fool for challenging the ruler of these lands, and then he even had the audacity to further challenge Serris when he was the clear winner. What really put the icing on the cake, at least to her, was the fact that he made threats as he left. Seriously? The omega knew threats were so over rated, especially when that wolf doesn’t have the guts to back it up. As the interloper looked around at everyone, Devil made sure to part her maw and pull her lips back to expose quite a bit of her pearls. It was obvious she was threatening him back, especially if he really was foolish enough to fucking come back, because there was no way she was going to let him rule Munashii Gekko. It would be a cold day in hell first, but she doubted he would win a fight anyways. It was nice to see him retreating though.

Severine seemed the most different from them all, very submissive and quiet. In fact the only words the omega heard roll off the others’ tongue was when she told Serris thank for letting her join that a promise not to fail him. Why promise something that could turn so futile quite easily? The only other lass in Munashii Gekko was a mystery alright. At the meeting she remembered how Severine looked to her with what seemed recognition even though she knew their orbs have never met before.

Experiment was the next wolf to come to her mind. The three legged stranger had been confusing to her. In all honesty when she saw his handicap she wondered if he would be any good for anything, but from his actions it had made him anything but weak. Serris had obviously been satisfied from how her new pack mate proclaimed himself experienced in everything. Somewhat surprised, very much like Serris, the male had even showed him a bit of vulnerable skin by the end of the meeting.

Raikou had been late to the meeting, well late to show himself that is, and tension seemed to aspire between him and the alpha the first few minutes. The male had come off as a smartass with a sense of humor to her. The King had taken it in a good way thought as he joked back with the male. Devil had even found it slightly amusing before she had stepped up to introduce herself.

Chocolate soul holders had noticed how Serris glanced at her during the meeting every now and then, much like he did to the other members she was sure, and she wondered what he thought of their small group. Docile would probably be an understatement for her, when it came to her home and pack members, she could be a rebellious little soldier who did what she thought best. A sort of take control when nobody else did, but hell nobody complained before. Probably because there was no one around to give orders in the first place, and it really caused her to wonder if this new King would stick around. He sure thought so but how many previously had done the same? His nod at her words had her thinking that was all she got, so she was a little caught off guard when he spoke to her, but she was careful to keep it mostly hidden. A witty remark almost fell from her maw when he finished, but the King looked away from her to another direction, as if he was lost in thought. Don’t throw the bullets away just yet she thought silently to herself as she went back to paying attention to the meeting going on.

Serris deep breath indicated that he was about to speak again, so brown soul holders returned to his figure as she waited for lyrics to fill the air. Introductions, and then the speech about trust and hard to adjust under new rulers, and how he would try to prove himself. Heard it all before, and she realized that never did it really change. Nobody could accept wolves other than him and that ranks would be given soon. Then with a nod, that seemed insignificant other than a later, their King was off to mark the borders. Stretching the lass went the other way headed to the borders, but this time she went at a slow trot as she wondered the borders, with no particular pattern or pace. It was where she found herself at now.

Everything was deadly silent, still, no forms other than small prey. Wolves? Devil could forget that so far, there was no signs of lupine life. Different? Hell no, it was turning into last time, members become inactive until they disappear. The alpha? No sign of Serris either, other than his scent maybe, and even that seemed a little low. Not as bad as her past alphas let it become, but it seemed to be going down the same path. The ebony and ivory soldier would have laughed at the irony of it all, except she was tired of it. Instead her feminine form wondered over to a tree and laid down to rest. Maybe she would search some company out later, if anyone was around that is. Licking a vanilla toned paw she remained alert as she watched the scenery around her in silence. Creepy, yes, but it was what made Munashii Gekko home to her.
