Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Deep down, Storm�s heart ached, she felt awful for not going to see Elk like she had promised she would, truly she had wanted to see her friend, and she would never be able to explain what had stopped her from going to Ice pack. She wouldn�t let this show though, because the joy of seeing her close friend again far outweighed the saddened feeling she got from not fulfilling her promise.

Blue-grey eyes took note of the small frown that had appeared on her friend�s face and she had to stop herself from letting a similar expression from creasing her visage as well. She wouldn�t think too much of it, if something was really bothering Elk he would tell her, right?

At the blue coloured brute�s first inquiry Storm nodded her head, �Yeah, I�ve been good. Kind of lonely though, but I guess I can�t complain,� she stated, shrugging a little. She had been lonely, hadn�t she? After having very little contact with any of the creatures that she knew she had felt rather� distant. Sure, she had met a few new faces, but it wasn�t the same, she preferred familiarity, and it was no lie to say that she was happiest when she was around creatures that she knew and got along with well.

Elk was different though, Storm felt complete when she was around him, he was held so much higher than the others, even those that she had known for longer than him.

His next question puzzled her a little, but she answered without hesitation, �No, nothing exciting to report from my part,� she stated, now falling back onto her haunches. �Why do you ask?� she asked, wishing to know why he had asked her that. Storm felt that something about the question seemed rather� odd for some reason.
