He needed to talk to Capricorn, settle things and just get an understanding settled with the man, but by god, it felt so good to be back here. Where he was raised, not born, seeing as his parents had made a weird adventure to Cimarron when he was due, and therefore, he’d been born in the quarry, his mother’s home place, but still, Paradise was where he was from, his father, Breakdown, had been heir to his grandsire, Altair, two time Atlantis king, it was amazing to be home. So damn amazing. The sand shifted beneath his weight as he crossed it, walking to a tree, he butted his head against it, the urge to taste the milky liquid from the odd shaped nuts that fell, was too overpowering to ignore. A few of the brown fuzzy round nuts fell to the sandy floor, and he lowered his head, nudging it towards the rocks, and when it settled, he stepped hard onto it, his hoof angled to where it would break the nut against the rock, some of the liquid came spilling out, but he lowered his head to the broken halves, drinking the small amount of milky liquid, and relishing in the sweet, floral flavor that came from the weird thing. It was something he had down all his life living here, and it felt good to be doing it again.
He lifted his head, his golden mane caught the rays that bounced down from the sun, and he watched. His ears twisted trying to catch the sounds that swirled into the air around him. He was looking for Capricorn, a chestnut snowflake appy, and he would need to have a talk with him, he supposed, because if he was going to be the second here, they needed to figure things out. Anubis wanted to be sure that this wouldn’t blow up in his face before bringing the girls here, he didn’t want to make them move so far without having something to show for it.
So for now Anubis waited, a short and simple call had been sent out, and so he waited in the shade of a palm tree, for the new lead of Paradise to come to his call.
