Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

My eyes widen in surprise as I watch a tear slide down his face. Instantly my face melts and my heart goes out to Kiel, wondering what ever could have happened to make him suddenly cry. He seems hesitant to answer my question, almost as if he doesn't know quite how to answer it. Finally he speaks. I listen attentively with ears pricked and I nod solemnly in acknowledgement at the end. My eyes are sadder than ever. That's so terrible. He was heartless. I'm so sorry. The male looks thoughtful and I wonder for a moment if he regrets having told me anything. My tail droops but then I see the far off look in his eyes and I can tell that he's thinking about something else. A decision about his future perhaps? He speaks again and his voice is strong with defeat. A small whine drips from my lips before I can stop it and I reach out to softly touch my nose to his shoulder, a gesture to show my sympathy.

That sounds so lonely. If you let it, time will heal you. Maybe you just need to make some close friends, let someone in so you don't have to carry this burden alone. My eyes are soft and kind. I hope that he knows that everything I say is what I truly think, not just something to say to make him feel better. I lost both my mates, one at a very young age and by my own paw but I had no choice. He was crazy and trying to kill me. The second, Phonix, abandoned me not once but twice. I've felt lost and alone ever since. I understand lonliness like nothing else. Kiel has that far off look in his eyes again. I can see whatever he's thinking of is making him very sad. My lips droop into a frown and my tail gives a sympathetic wag. He looks a little hopeful though when he looks back in my direction, as if questioning if I'd be a friend. In return, I offer a gentle smile, my way of affirming that I would.
