She'd nearly forgotten how...flamboyant, and excited, Kite was. About anything and everything. The complete opposite from her. It was sort of ridiculous. She couldn't have ever imagined listening to two mintues of talk from someone like him maybe two months ago, but in two months, things could change. An awful lot. Still. Opposites attract. Or so they said.
Wait, that was stupid to even think that. She grimaced at the thought, and cursed her own stupidity.

He seemed real happy, and not even that surprised, to see her. It was like he'd been expecting it, or something. This made her become slightly suspicious, but she made no comment on her paranoia, and instead grunted something back to him. Hi. But... her voice trailed off nervously, and she wondered what to say without getting in trouble, or giving too much away. Suppose someone had followed her, or saw her talking to Kite? She hadn't been all that discreet with sneaking off to places lately. She told herself it was to be alone, and to think, but really it was to get away from her brother. But, it was about time he followed her, or sent someone else to do it. She could tell he was getting suspicious about her wanderlust. She literally felt like a prisoner. And it wasn't even because he was worried about her. Oh, no. As usual, he was just worried about himself, and what her wandering would mean for his pack. Considering she was one of only two hunters.

Well, yes, but I can't really- she began to explain, just as he threw himself off the branches and tried - and failed - to float down gracefully. Her breath caught in her throat as he stremed down quickly, the quite large male causing quite a collision as twigs and branches snapped to make way for his hurtling form. Kite! she shrieked without meaning to, as she ran to where his body fell. Oh my god, are you okay? Ki- once again, she was interupted, this time by his squeak of an "Ow". He moved easily, and he even had a smile on his face. So, he wasn't dead. Like she thought he'd been. It didn't even look like he'd broken anything. She was very embarrassed about calling out now, and looked down on him quite stiffly, her once-concerned face turning into one of anger. God, Kite, I thought you were dead! What were you thinking? Trying to fly when there are branches all around you... she growled. She'd make sure he was okay, and then she'd leave, she decided. Yes, that was exactly what she would do.
