At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

After her teasing, Whispers In The Dark was honestly just expecting some snark directed back at her and then a change in subject. However, his comment surprised her, and she quirked a brow curiously. The more one of them tested the limits of the other, the other would respond by pushing back just as much. It was fun, different from what she was accustomed to. Her dark brown eyes followed him as he moved quite suavely towards the old male. The grizzled old wolf stared warily at the younger male. Whispers had to stifle a giggle as her pale counterpart turned on the charm. She heard the exchange between the two, shaking her head in amusing as her colleague finished charming the old male and made his way back towards her.

“Laying it on kind of thick, don't you think, Charming?”

She grinned as he remarked back a quote of the heart.

“You'd think, wouldn't you?”

Whispers answered him in what was becoming a familiar, snarky tone. Their conversation was so far drenched in it. It was different from back home. Comatose and Whispers were around six months when the alpha of Cold Summers, Wrath, decided to move to a different land to take over a pack there. Their father had followed, so obviously they were brought along as well. She had loved it there, really she had, but there was definitely a reason she decided to come back to where she considered her first home. Everyone was kind at Wrath's new pack, but most of them were so serious all the time. Even the teens her age were either as boring as their parents or dumb asses who rebelled purely for the sake of causing the adults strife. Even after well over a year of being gone, Whispers knew she would find a better fit back in Blossom Forest. This male was helping prove that point.

This male... it occurred to her that she still did not know the fella's name. At least not a name beyond the heavily sarcastic 'Charming' title she had titled him. They had been sitting here snarking back and forth for how many minutes and had yet to introduce themselves? Yes, odd... but all the same, it hadn't even crossed her mind until just then. What else? She knew that he was a talker. How about, as they say, 'walking the walk'? She stood up from her seated position and battered her eyes in an overly playful way.

“So, Charming, think you can keep up?”

She then leaped gracefully off of the ledge and landed rather daintily on her paws. She dared to look back only once before picking up her pace. Assuming that he was following close behind, she slipped her way around to the other side of the gigantic stone structure. Most of the staircase had open access, but in the very back it met with the thick forest around Staircase Falls. Most would take this as a dead end, but she ducked into the brush. She had heard about a small, hidden path in the back of area that not many knew about. Granted, she had heard about this from the crazy old white wolf that used to live in Cold Summers. It was worth a look nonetheless. After needing to duck down beneath several more branches it became clear to her why it was not well known.

She hoped Mr. Charming was still following. What was a shiny new friendship without a little adventure, anyways? About five or so minutes into the depths of vegetation, a smile spread across her lips. There it was. There was moss along it, and plant life overgrown onto it, but a path was etched out nonetheless. Hypothetically the male had followed her in, and she stepped back a few paw lengths so he could get a view of it.

“Well, I'm not sure where it goes.. or if it goes anywhere, really..”

It was pretty clear what she was hinting at, if leading him there in the first place hadn't made it obvious.

“What say you?”

ooc; so yes, if he agrees and they go explore you can decide what it ends up leading them too. lol.
