Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Something Once Lost Will Never Return

Ciel had a tugging annoyance in the back of his mind that tugged each time she used 'we' instead of 'I' though he would never voice or show it. His relaxed smile remained on his muzzle as she explained though he let a look of interest spead across his face. She must have grown up in a family in which she was always in a group, always reffering to the whole group when she spoke or something of the sort. Ciel never had any siblings, though if he did he would have probably fallen into a similar speech pattern. It was odd, however, for her to be on her own and still speak as though she were in a group. He would surely get used to it if he were to see her often.

Once she was done with his explanation, Ciel nodded. "That makes sense." Was all he said in return. He didn't have much else to say.

"Yes, if you come from a place like that to a place like this, I imagine it is quite a change." He waved his tail to the side. "Who is your Uncle?" His mind went straight to the pack he had recently visited. It was quite barren and dry, and if he was not mistaken, that was the pack she was referring to. My what a coincidence this is. "I am sorry you your uncle has not given you a good image of himself. If you don't care for your uncle nor his pack, do you spend a lot of time outside the pack?" It made sense that she would be gone. She wouldn't have to leave, though she wouldn't have to hang around the pack more then she had to. He tilted his head slightly at her question. Why was he there?

"I am getting used to the territory, making myself familiar with the area." He shrugged. It was part of the truth, but not the whole truth. Where he had grown up always had beautiful winters like this. And though it was summer now, his favorite memories were from the past winters before his parent's passing. Though he would never admit it to anyone, the snow comforted him and he felt as though he was still at home somehow. He usually hid those feelings far down deep for they were dead now, and he was the head of the Phantomhive manor and he made sure no one thought otherwise. His tail lifted into the air, and his eyes stayed emotionless as all these thoughts ran through his head. "My home is on the other side of the mountain, I am working my way from one side to the other though I can't make it in one day so I stopped here to plan out where I will stay for the night." This was indeed a problem he hadn't thought of before he had headed out but he would make do with what he had available.
