The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

(( look look, muse! *grabs it while it's still here* :3 ))

As Ti waited quietly in her little hollow, she was surprised by a powerful howl ringing out into the air. It was instantly recognizable, the power and authority apparent in the song could belong to only one wolf. The elder's face lit up instantly, a great grin grew across her features and she eagerly awaited Seline's company. She had hardly dared hope the queen was still present, it'd been so long since they'd had contact, it seemed foolish to hope. But Tjikiju was a foolish old codger and she would have it no other way. It was hope and faith that kept the world so bright, the elder firmly believed in such things. And, more often than not, she was proved right.

Fairly swiftly after the call sounded, the candy cane coat of the alpha came into view, a very welcome sight to the elder. Each step Seline took showcased her good health, her injuries had healed well and she looked on top form. Ti was happy to see her in such excellent condition,, well, she was happy to see her full stop. Her tail tore up the dust as she attempted to raise herself on unsteady legs, before sinking back as she realized such a move was a mistake. Her old bones protested at being made to move so suddenly, besides, she was comfortable enough with her place in the pack that she felt it unnecessary. Seline knew how strong her loyalty ran.

Tjikiju focused her ears fully on her glorious queen, listening intently and with a soft smile. However, when Seline stopped mid sentence and pulled away, the smile dropped and was replaced with a more worried look. Had she done something wrong? Should she perhaps show more submission than she was? Her worry only increased as she noticed the rage cross the alpha's face, turning her scarred visage into a more frightening vision. Ti watched Seline with wary eyes, her tail still and a kind of tenseness present in her body, despite how much it ached to be so rigid.

When Seline spoke again, Ti visibly relaxed, realizing what had set the alpha off. Her smile was gone, however, as she found the memories of the attack returning fresh to her mind. There was fear in her mis-matched eyes, if one looked close enough, clouding the edges and blurring her vision. Yet, it was only slight, for the comforting presence and very obvious protectiveness of the blood and snow she-wolf acted like a security blanket. Just like Saladin, Seline made her feel safe, perhaps even strong once more. She was among family, she was home, they'd never reach her here. They wouldn't even be able to spit before they were torn apart for their actions.

.... Not know where they go, no no. Skar wyc svaist.... They.. they did bad... things. Much, much sorry, yes yes. Too old be useful, should not need help. Much sorry, please forgive?" Tjikiju hung her head in shame, saddened by her uselessness. She could not even remember where the attack had been, despite how sharp their green eyed faces were in her mind. How strong their scents were to her nose, even though they weren't near her. She felt like a burden to her new family, she knew they were all hardened warriors, even when old. Saladin was nearing her age, yet still he stood tall and proud, while she fell at the paws of these young savages.

The old wolf was about to continue, when she realized that she wasn't alone. She'd heard the SNAP earlier, but it had drifted in one ear and out the other as she remained immersed in those horrific memories. Now though, she took the time to run her half-blind gaze over the strange, female wolf. The creature was small, pale, but with a most remarkable coat. It had a beautiful silvery grey sheen to it, with white forelimbs, ear tips and eye makeup. There were hints of black here and there too, all finished off with unusual, intense eyes; light grey outlined in a soft sage green.

Tjikiju instantly liked the female, if not for her brilliant coat, it was for her immediate submission and lovely voice. The girl announced her name as Kaguya, a name as foreign to Ti as most of those she'd already encountered. She spoke of wishing to join and what she was good at, a moment that took the elder back to when she first joined. How long ago that day seemed, it was almost like a distant memory, replaced by more recent, and far more traumatic ones.

Shaking her skull slightly, the old she-wolf returned her eyes to her queen, hoping Seline would accept this young and unique wolf. Ti could sense a mystery behind that timid gaze, she always liked different cultures, different histories and ways of living. Kaguya seemed foreign even to those already in BF, which was as foreign to the old lass as the wolves that crossed it's surface. "Tarrkknji Kaguya, welcome. I no speak for dear alpha, no no, but I be much happy have you as pack-mate. " She smiled warmly to the young lass, though her focus still remained on Seline, awaiting her reactions.
