The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.
His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.
"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."
It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.
"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."
The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

| Before Seline could receive an answer from the elder before her; a sudden SNAP of a twig within the foliage had her tilting her jaw across her shoulder, glancing back to locate the source of the disturbance. And my, was she startled by what she saw. A rather small, graceful, and lithe female stood stock still at at the outskirts of the clearing; looking very much like a deer caught in headlights, about to be bombarded and smacked across the torso in a rather rough and hard manner. She looked anxious, scared, intimidated; all of the above, really, and while the Alpha noted it all- she also noted something else. Beauty beyond most things she had ever found in her years of life. Though Ti was still of importance to her, the newcomer female momentarily distracted the blood and snow Alpha, peaking her interest quite so. Though she seemed frozen to the spot for several long moments, with both the elders and Seline’s own eyes glued on her, she seemed to finally find the courage to step forward into the light, immediately dropping down to submit to the Queen. Arching her left brow, Seline gaze a light tilt of her jaw to the left, immensely enjoying what she observed in the act of it. Slender limbs so gracefully bowed their owner down to the earth and pivoted; exposing vital organs as the stranger gave herself up completely to the Alpha. Moving her body in a quick motion, the older female closed the distance between the two, before reaching down and out with her muzzle; parting her jaws to gently grasp and close around the younger ladies throat. After the gesture lasted about, say, five seconds, the regal finally pulled away, though not before a gentle nudge and nuzzle against the opposite wolf’s neck; a sure sign of acceptance as well as immense interest. Indeed, Seline did like what she saw.
When an oh-so-sweet and feminine voice rolled forth, the Alpha’ perked her ears forward to catch each and every syllable, a rather easy going, beautiful, and warm smile graced her black lips before she herself spoke, tilting her jaw upward royally only slightly. “Welcome to my home, Andere Seite, my beautiful lady. I would be Seline, Queen and long Alpha here. I would be both honoured and glad to add you to my ranks; and to welcome you to your very own, new home.” As she spoke, she kept the broad smile across her alabaster and crimson muzzle; but when she noted that Kaguya, as was her name, seemed to be intently interested in the dirt between her paws.. Seline tilted her jaw to the right side this time, a note of curiosity now apparent in her honey and silk tones. “My dear.. does the dirt interest you more than my dear friend and I?” There was a hint of teasing in her tones, letting the young lass know she did not mean any harm nor threat by her words; nor no mockery, but in truth; she really did want the girl to look up at her, so that she could know her face exactly as she did all of her other wolves, as she would always do. “Won’t you grace me with that precious gaze of yours, my love?” The girl may not have been used to such familiarities as the Queen tended to use; but she didn’t mind. Kaguya would have to get used to it is all, seeing as Andere was her new home. After giving the young girl as much attention as she deemed needed, Seline was quick to turn back to Ti before her, nodding approval and gratitude as the elders own introduction; enjoying the way the dual gold and silvery eyes gazed up at her with attention and seek of approval. Unable to help herself, the pale yet dyed female found herself reaching out once again toward Ti; giving her another soft, graceful and tender nuzzle to the neck before a subtle like then pulling away, speaking softly for her to hear, as well as Kaguya if she also wished it. “Know to never apologize for the wrong doings of others, my dear. You have done nothing wrong- it was the ones that did this to you that are in the wrong. Believe me, if I ever catch sight of them, if I ever find them; within or beyond my borders.. they will rue the day they were born.. that.. I promise you.” Though the anger had returned to Seline’s voice, it was not as harsh as it was upon her first realization- she had noted simply that the reaction had nerved Ti, and she did not want any more false accusations going on within the elders mind. After all; the old foreigner was one of Sel’s prized wolfs, almost as if a prize possession, and she never wanted her to feel as if she had done wrong- less she actually did. But the Alpha never truly believed the elder would; she was far too respectful of the Satanicans and Seline herself to ever step out of line, not that she could really, far as Seline’ was concerned, and for this the blood and snow Alpha was quite thankful. Though no one else had yet to show up, Seline was confident her wolves as well as the rest of her family would show up at some point, and so with both introductions over with, the Queen skirted the back side of the golden elder and sprung up lithely upon her Alpha rock, languidly as well as lithely lowering her frame down upon the now warmed-by-the-sun stone, enjoying said warmth as it sought out all of her limbs as well as her underbelly. Laying with just her crimson and alabaster paws hanging just over the edge, she turned her bright emerald gaze to the two females at her side, giving them both a warm and loving smile in turn; before finding herself speaking again, thereafter falling silent. “Let us all wait for the rest of our family together; shall we? If you’d like, you can choose to tell me where you are from, dear Kaguya- even your background if you so very well choose. Or keep your silence, if that is what you would prefer. Of course.. the choice is always and forever up to you, my dear.” The Queen did indeed have a slightly strange way with words; but it was simply what made Seline, Seline. As she waited patiently, she gave equal attention to both the females beside her, while at the same time making sure to roam her bright green gaze all around the clearing, always on the lookout for her wolves, family, and any newcomers who had dared her borders of Andere Seite. It was all a part of the waiting game, and wait, the Alpha would. |
