Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

It was odd how quickly my mood could change. I was sure that the part of me that was on display most of the time was anything but a warrior. The fact that I knew when to take a situation seriously was probably surprising to anyone except Queens, since she had seen it before. As soon as she gave the word to head back, I nodded and was right behind her out of the cave. Once we picked up pace I pulled up so I was beside her as we ran. She filled me in on the little she knew about it. She mentioned that they visited one pack but pulled back because the alpha was there.

“So we need someone, an authority figure, openly present at Malignant Felicity...”

She spoke more about the particular wolf in charge of the operation. This Kershov fellow. I wasn't afraid of her description of him, though it did make me curious of him.

“I would be more than willing to add to his collection of scars.”

It was clear that I was hardly joking with that remark, which I growled in a low voice. We stopped for a moment and she gave me a look. Just by that look I knew she was about to say something that would make me very, very uncomfortable. When she spoke of going over there under the guise of someone else left me just staring for a moment. She turned away from me and we maneuvered through the secret entrance and found ourselves back in Malignant Felicity. It was good being back, though I detested the circumstances which had brought me back sooner than expected. I was sure she had a plan of calling the pack and giving them the news that no one was to leave, but before anything else I quickly passed her up and blocked her way so she had to pay attention to me. I took a very small pause, considering my words very carefully.

“You had better be damn sure this is what you want to do. This isn't as easy as in and out.”

I wasn't sure if she had been expecting me to be supportive or not. I wasn't, not really, I didn't want her going over there and my concerned expression was probably a give away. However, I knew better than to argue, and instead was going to do everything in my power to prepare her for it.

“Meeting him once outside of the pack lands is one thing, but if you just come and go he'll get suspicious, or worse, have you followed. Once you're in you've got to stay in there as long as you're gathering information. If you're cover gets blown, or if you even think they're getting suspicious, you have to play it safe and leave. Immediately.”

My mismatched eyes stared into her amber, maple flaked pools intensely.

“We're playing it close to the chest, but I'll try to figure out a way of checking in from a distance. Meanwhile, I'll correspond with my relatives that are spread across Blossom, specifically over at Aurora Borealis. Having another nearby pack allied with ours isn't a bad idea. And we need someone to place in charge here that will be here at all times, even if they're just for appearances. I don't know if you have a beta or something right now, but make it someone you trust.”

I nodded to myself, hoping she would give me some sign of affirmation. My features suddenly softened, and the intense edge came off of my voice.

“Are you ready for this? Are you sure

My voice was full of care and concern. I hated this, but I couldn't argue it was a good plan. Of all the wolves I knew, Queens would be one of the best to pull something like this off. My bottom lip curled in and I bit it, holding myself back from begging her to stay. The Demonica part of me was definitely taking over, and we were no strangers to those close to us going into dangerous situations. Once she gave me an answer, we turned to, I assumed, call a meeting together when she suddenly burst out. I hadn't smelled it before, but after she mentioned it, yes I did smell the group.

We pushed off at the same time, sprinting with all our might to reach them. Our fucking kids... they had amazing timing, didn't they? It seemed like they were right by the border, even. We tore through the pack, not even bothering to stay on the path. We flew through the territory as if it were a maze, going around trees and through other obstacles until we reached the area where they were all gathered at.

“Hold it!”

I shouted as I emerged into the area. I figured Queens would be right with me. The wolf that was leading them was a young male, just the age to be one of mine. He didn't look to appreciative to have been stopped. He looked confused, but that didn't stop him from back talking.

“Who are you to-”

“Boy... just don't.”

I barked back at him just to shut him up, and then stepped aside to allow Queens room to speak to them.
