Vex's rage built up inside of her. Adrien seemed mad at Vex. She wanted to tear the pup to shreds now, and would, if Kage and her pups weren't standing right there. Her eyes flashed, and the only thing that was concentrated on her mind right now was self control.

through gritted teeth, she stuttered, "Adrien, get that flithy pelt out of here. Start running now, so I can stab you in the back. You are a pup, which has two meanings. One, I can kill you. Two, you will not even make a dent on me."

She now was not worried about Kage, or the scared pups behind her.

Now her mouth was open. "Talon was a mindless, stupid mutt who could think of nothing but himself. He is evil and cruel. If he hadn't tried to kill me, we wouldn't be here, would we? And your sister would still be alive."

How could Adrien think that Vex had killed her own daunter out of spite? In fact, Vex hadn't killed her. Her bad side had. And Adrien was a child, a foolish one even for a child. She ad no insight on life yet, so she couldn't be talking.

Vex didn't care for Kage now. She leaped onto Adrien, her mouth snarling and drooling.
