Trying to Understand the World

At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Sparky growls at her, soaking wet. He splashes her as he heads back to the spot he was at. I head over, nuzzling him. Instead, he growls at me too. I ask him, "Why are you acting like this?" He replies, "I'm jealous of my siblings. Can't you tell?! You and father have been paying attention to them, but not to me!" I sigh and say, "It's hard to.." but he interrupts me saying, "I don't give a crap mom! All I want is to be liked!" I say, "We do like you son, in fact we love you." He tried to interrupt me again, but I put my paw on his mouth. "Listen. People love you. A lot of people do. It's just hard to take care of 6 children at one time. Dad would most likely spend time with you one day, you just have to ask him." I say, and he seemed to relax at the last part. He asks, "You promise you love me?" I reply with, "Yes, I promise. Now go say sorry to your sister and lighten up a bit." He nods, as he heads over to Sarielle saying, "I'm sorry how I acted. I shouldn't of done that to you. Should we play again? If you want to, just wait a second because I want to ask dad a question." Spark then trots over to dad and asks, "Can you take me to see all of Blossom Forest one day, father?" He patiently waits for a reply.
