That smirk killed her inside. It was to much like the snide remarks and faces of that dreaded pack. The one that abandoned her.

Then control slipped away from her, she was becoming the beast that had killed every wolf that had come near her during her rampage.

She was flying athletically through the air, teeth barred, and claws extended. She landed with one paw on top of the pup, pinning him to rock behind him on his back. there was a claw right in the middle of his neck which penetated the flesh and drew some blood.

Blood.

Seeing what she had done, she lept backwards. Corae took quick, shallow breaths, horrified at her uncontrolled attacking of an innocent pup. She turned away, leaving the pup to stare at her back and severed tail.

"You lied. I am a bloodthirsty beast. There's just the rest of me that tries to hide it."
