At one point in the past your board attempted to support candidates for the fire or police trustees positions, and give some direction for members. We found that we were separated from the job so long that we didn't even know the candidates. So, we made an attempt to interview them. But, scheduling that proved very difficult and usually we didn't get to all of the candidates. Now with absentee ballots the turn around period is shorter which adds to the difficulty. Your board discussed these issues and decided we could not give you timely, accurate information. So, instead of proposing a decision for you I encourage ALL of our members to post any information they have on any of the candidates on this message board to share with other members so we can all make a more informed decision.
