Fellow retirees,
I have just read the posts concerning this election. I believe that even though we may not know the candidates very well, if at all, and even though it is difficult to schedule meetings or get candidate input we should not forgo the opportunity to demonstrate our willingness to get behind and vote into office the person who best represents retirees. It is also my belief that if we voted as a block, it would not be as difficult to schedule meetings and get information from candidates. With this in mind, I am getting behind Larry Vincent's selection - Richard Cochran. Hopefully, in the future, candidates will seek us out for our votes. At least there will be two retirees voting in unison. The other two candidates may be qualified but until we know more we should vote for one candidate thereby demonstrating that we are a group not to be ignored. Replies:
