The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

What Is This World Coming To? [Eric, Seline, Valiant]
IP: 98.68.164.243

He really did pack a punch. Not that she was surprised, it just kind of hurt...alot. I mean, she'd only flicked a tongue across his nose and he had responded by walloping her one, ramming his shoulder right into her chest and knocking her a good one. Any prideless wolf would be limping with the big bruise that was spreading on her narrow and finely tapered chest, but Cade couldn't afford to show weakness, so instead she was hiding the pain behind a rather absent look, masking it and looking as if she was giving serious thought to something instead of channeling the budding bruise's soreness away from her mind. It sounded rather silly to be focusing on removing something from one's focus, but it was something she had been taught many moons ago, one of the first lessons actually.

Pain was a friend. If you could feel pain, then you knew you were still alive. Of course, there were times when too much pain likely meant you weren't really alive because you couldn't physically move any more and then you were done for, but this was the kind of pain that meant she had been given yet another of life's lessons. Don't screw with Eric. Or rather, screw with Eric and learn to be quicker. She liked the second idea better. It would be more fun that way. Yes, maybe she would go out running and hunting, do a bit of rock climbing while she was at it. After all, she was built for speed, she just needed to learn how to utilize her advantages. Mayhap she would quit skipping lessons to do stupid things like getting knocked of her high horse by a blood sucking fiend. The only real difference would be that Uncle Valiant or Great Uncle Liquid would be the ones shoving her around instead. At least they probably wouldn't have murderous intent...not starting out anyway. And just like that, she had been thinking of something serious to go with that quiet, blank demeanor she had brought forth. Snapping back to attention, she glanced at Eric and decided that maybe some light conversation would be of interest.

"So...if you're a vampire, why could I see your reflection in the water?"

It was a ponderous thing, perhaps not the brightest of subjects to breech, but then again, Cade liked trouble, even if it did mean being pummeled for nosing around. They weren't that far from the pack border, so maybe Eric wouldn't act out in response. Or maybe he would and Seline would enjoy the show before welcoming him into her ranks. She really did believe that her mother would like this guy. Eric had a certain air about him, like he was tainted but on a much deeper level than most wolves. Tainted but willing to show loyalty to the right wolf. Yes, that's what it felt like. Now the question was whether or not Cade was right about his character. It was time to find out.
