Howdy,
I have noticed that the total number of votes cast in this election was 291 and includes one blank ballot. That seems very low to me. It also might indicate that retirees could indeed elect the person they wanted. I don't know the number of retirees, actives, or retiree association members. These figures would be interesting and necessary to prove me right or wrong.
