Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Gamma of Bright Moon

I noticed his body language. He was all business right now. A smirk tugged at my golden lips, my orbs rolling smoothly in their sockets. If he's gonna be uptight and snippy, he can fuck off. The bitter thought was just that, a thought. I would never have even considered vocalizing it. Tamlin would not be happy if I managed to scare aspiring members away with a sharp tongue.

I didn't appreciate the way this wolf looked at me like I was something to be wary of. Like I was the devil sent to tempt him or something stupid like that. Like I was lying to him. But what would that gain for me? Nothing, that's what it would gain. My little joke seemed to be less than funny to him. I saw how he looked about to growl, how pissy he looked now. The frown on his face was less than flattering.

I saw how he was lost in thought, probably analyzing what I had said. I flicked my tail, a quick whip of the air. Oh, calm down, I was only joking! Excuse me for being happy at actually getting sleep after four days without it! At first, I thought that this had simply been in my mind that I had uttered it. Then with a shock, I realized that the vocals had slipped through my labias. My orbs widened and my jaw dropped. Oh my gosh, I am sooo sorry! The apology was stammered as I tripped over my own tongue. Luckily he seemed to be lost in thought still, or so I hoped.

I took a big gulp as I watched the dark male carefully. I really, really hoped he hadn't heard me. I never let things like that slip! What was wrong with me? As I watched, I saw him resurface from the sea of thoughts that often consumes us. His maw parted and I stilled.

Warrior. Well Warrior was very formal. No wonder why my cheeriness was taken with a spoon of salt. As he spoke I nodded slowly. When he was done, I stood in silence for a moment longer. Look, I get that you think you have to be prim and proper because you're here. But you're wrong. At Bright Moon, we're a family or as close to one as a pack can get. Tamlin makes sure of that. Loosen up a bit, eh? No need to be nervous and formal. If you let it, this will become your home as it has become mine and one should feel safe and comfortable in their home. It may not be perfect but this is home. You say you want to join, Warrior, so all I can say is, welcome home. My tone was gentle, my eyes kind. Once I had finished, a tentative smile spread on my lips. My fluffy honey dyed pelt was tousled about in the breeze and I gazed at Warrior's dark frame. I took a few steps to the side and back. A small gesture with my head invited him into the pack's lands. I waited and watched silently for him to take his first steps into the pack. I stood there for a while. I watched him carefully for his reaction to my words as they sank in. Finally I let the smile that had been gracing my face, the one of pure joy, slide comfortably back into place. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Oh and if you would like me to show you around the lands, I would be happy to. My voice was back to the way it should be, perky and friendly, instead of being kept at a careful tentativeness.

vengafeather, a remake, as best as i could do, of the wonderful picture that Minnie had made me. since Venga's a Gamma now, i figured it would be a good time to fix her photo so it matches her slogan.(:
