The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

The little red damsel found no solace in walking or at least not on this particular night. Her pace was haggard her appearance disheveled, though it wasn’t like any amount of grooming could straighten her out. She seemed destroyed; her scarlet frame adorned in numerous quarter length scars fading out to the tiniest of slivers, her usually brilliant two toned eyes dulled, and dainty face clad in a distant sort of gloom. So it would appear the lovely Arsinoe was fraught in much despair these days. No it would seem as though things were not going well at all… not for her. Seemed as if the things that troubled her would never go away, no not even in her dreams. She contemplated this for a while until, much to her surprise and delight a strange perfume caught her dark nares. A smile twisted upon her ebon lips as she scented the visitors estrogen laced fragrance lightly clinging to the undergrowth; pregnancy hung to it as well. Surprise flickered across the crimson ladies features. An expecting mother wondering upon the borders of Abendrot? How curious. She broke into a run, long alabaster pillars guiding her swift and elegantly over and around the twisted roots of the commanding trees; almost daunting if one wasn’t used to such confined places.

It didn’t take her long and soon Arsinoe’s form was propped right before the black and white fae. She had obviously been here for some time hence the furrowed earth at her feet and that still somewhat stained her pelt. Arsinoe was truly interested in the lady and greeted her politely; only one other birth had taken place inside the borders since she had arrived and that litter belonged to prisoners. She smiled and questioned rather artily, “Needing something dearie? You look a little lost.” Lost indeed, something about her screamed sweet but to the woman’s delight something else triggered a sense of promise. Arsinoe loved the prospect of potential. “Your name love?” She shifted her weight and let her eyes wander to the new comers expanded belly. Oh how the robin remembered motherhood… those blessed moments. That was when she had been truly free, that had been when she was truly happy; before the nightmares and bad memories. “Congratulations.”
