The large cougar flicked his stubbed tail, and skidded off the fallen tree log. He landed on his feet, and growled. His golden fur sparkled in the moonlight, shimmering under the light. He always thought of moonlight to be bright, but yet at the same time, let out a eerie darkness to it. He shook off the wood chips from his pelt - he had been rubbing himself on the bark, it felt good. When he was done, an unfamiliar scent reached his nose. It smelled like dog. He growled, it was not far away, that meant he had a trespasser.
He roared, before speeding off into the direction of the scent. He leaped over bushes, ducked under branches, until the dog, or wolf, came into view. He stopped in his tracks, and snarled. "What are you doing, trespassing on my territory and disrupting this beautiful night?" His eyes did not waver.
