Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

I jump from ridge to ridge with such agility and speed it was almost surprising form myself as well as such others that must of been watching me. I turned down my pase to look below me "Hurry, or your gonna miss the sun set." I had always loved watching the sunset on Misty Mountain, Rainbow Cliff was okay but it could get a bit humid up there.
