The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

Her laugh reflects her personality.

Hearing his sister guffaw distracts him for a few moments, but once the conversation falls back into his court, he cannot help but notice how quite El Aran has grown. He inclines his head to eye her curiously, but she is looking elsewhere, averting her gaze as if ashamed of something. Odd, he thinks, but knows better than to comment on his lead mare’s uncharacteristic submissiveness right now.

“I’m sure,” he replies honestly. Though he still doesn’t know her as well as he would like, it doesn’t take a huge stretch of imagination to see Valencia travelling the islands to her heart’s content. “Haven’t settled down yet, then?” Grinning, Encantador flicks his tail half-heartedly to chase away pests from his white-gold flanks. At her question, he lapses into thoughtful silence and tilts his head to consider the clear blue sky.

What comes out of his mouth then surprises even him. “Have you been back to the harbor?” Just the thought of the place sets his heart racing as it does when he thinks of Dany, but he cannot help it: he eyes his sister with barely-concealed desperation in his eyes. To compensate for his obvious curiosity, he improvises. “I know a few who live there now. One invited me to visit, but I haven’t ever got round to it, I’m afraid.”

Nor do I intend to any time soon, he thinks sourly. But I’ve no doubt that place doesn’t hold the same horrid memories for you, sweet Val.
