Now, dear children, pay attention
Serris found pleasure in the fact that his touch made her shutter. Sensitive little bitch, wasn’t she? A cocky smirk appeared on his visage. At least he had finally squeezed a name out of this mystery princess; Akuji. An exotic name, but one with a nice ring, as it left a sort of spice on the tongue when spoken. And, as a plus, she seemed receptive to his sarcasm and even bounced back a few quips of her own. Ah, yes, he could get used to this kind of company. A growl disturbed the atmosphere and Serris’s natural protective instincts first interpreted it as a threat. But as he stared at her pate and saw the expression that lay there he relaxed and huffed back. That’s what being an Alpha did to you. But for now he wasn’t a King; he was simply another male wandering about the shadows of some well-traversed cave. And, as far as he would allow, this fatale would not learn his secret unless she beckoned him to do so. His internal decisions were interrupted by the sight of Akuji padding closer, her own creamy banner rising to assert her own dominance in the situation. He lightly nipped at her tassel as she slipped it below his jaw, letting go as she proceeded to run it along his ribs. Ah, so that’s how it was. He unleashed his own deep growl as she turned back to him, rambling off a string of lyrics that questioned his motives. Raising an eyebrow, the dark titan eyed the mistress as she circled him once more, humming a little tune. He shifted his paws, talons scraping across the hard rock, but he did not shuffle in nervousness. No, this was pure anticipation at what was to come. Surely this would be fun. “Oh sweetie, I have my own motives, now don’t I?” He stepped forward, paw splashing in a shallow puddle of cavern water. “But, you know, there’s no need for such frivolous facts. Let’s say we just enjoy eachother’s company, yes?” He approached her silhouette and came in to brush shoulders, but at the last moment he grinned and vied off the path, chuckling as he retreated briefly to the shadows. He’d make her work for what she wanted. Carefully lowering his rump, Serris sat half in shadow, his glistening blue orbs shining dangerously in the partial illumination. What to say next was the question. How to continue to conversation. There were a million ways to spin his words, and each would draw an incredibly different reaction. Drop the bomb that he was leader of Munashii and recruit her? Only if he wanted to ruin the moment and possibly lose a useful ‘friend’. And yes, he did mean ‘friend’. Of course she seemed to be excellent company, but a good little fuck buddy was never a bad thing either. Or should he turn into a pleading brute and ask for her heart, so entranced in her stunning beauty? Pl - ease, he’d rather chew off his own genitals and shit them out before that sort of foolishness left his kissers. What then, to entice this lady to stay in his midst while proving himself a worthy male to stand at her side for the time being? It was then that the story of this cave came to him and he cracked his neck to one side, immediately knowing his next move. Still situated on his behind, the ebony knight felt his maw open and words come rolling out. “And what about you, Princess Akuji? What brings a ‘helpless young lady’ such as yourself to these lands? Perhaps to seek the monster that lies in the belly of this place? Wolfbane himself, or whatever the ignorant pups say while they cuddle next to the false warmth of their mothers.” He ended the speech with a disgusted sneer, knowing what cowards this next generation had become. Or was he the fool for not believing such ancient tales? Either way he had never been interested in the stupid story, but if it meant a new topic for them to explore then all the better. Flicking his silver-accented auds, Serris let his gaze wander along the vixen once again as he waited for a response. I have brought you something
