At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

She whimpered and cowered under the older wolfs gaze. she fluffed up her fur and whined. W-what? I-Im not lieing! I can't find Mommy! Please don't hurt me! I just want my mommy! she sits down and whines pitifully. she lowers her ears and her tail, showing that she doesn't mean any harm. she even goes as far as to roll over and show her belly. She whimpers and keeps her eyes averted. she curls into a ball and cries and whines more.  |
