"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

What was a wolf to do around the pack of Malignant Felicity? Apparently nothing. Vingi had been doing border patrol like a good boy, but when no one came to the borders to join, a bit of a damper was put on that sort of activity as well. To put it simply, Vingi was bored. He wasn't usually the murderous sort, but he felt the need to kill something... preferably slowly. However, one of the most annoying things about being bored is that you can't get past the lethargy of it all, so after he had concluded his daily two hour run and his half hour of flexibility and strength training, he couldn't work up the enthusiasm to kill anything, much less anyone. It was a pity really, since he likely would have quite enjoyed the smooth taste and exotic scent of rusty life-fluid as it laced his tongue and changed his ebony muzzle's hue to a rich scarlet.

He was disappointed by the lack of sociopaths, psychos and lunatics to feed his desire to view things that could be considered... omoshiroi. Lately, the misplaced phantom had done nothing but wander, his travels punctuated only occasionally by the sight of a fellow creature. The hunt called by the wolf Leonidas could have been an amusing endeavour, but at the last minute, two random bastards who he had a feeling it would be best to respect came and informed them that the hunt was cancelled.

He was lurking in the deep shadow of a small pile of iron-hued rocks when the feral howl of the queen herself echoed through the air.. Her first howl sounded urgent, so he rose to his paws and began jogging toward her. The second howl prompted him to pick up a lope, since it just wouldn't do to have the lady disgruntled at him, since he wouldn't be able to observe the activity (which he would consider interesting) as well without a throat.

He hadn't been far from the border, and the howl which Queens voiced came from the interior of the lands, so it took him a few minutes to arrive. During that time, he caught the scents of six other wolves arriving. One of the scents belonged to Nikandros, a wolf he counted among his closer acquaintances.

He had just slipped through the trees and settled his haunches near the edge of the group when the third howl sprang from the warrioress' maw. He was pleased to arrive before that cry had been sounded, since he sensed that her temper was beginning to fray at the lateness of some of her underlings. The rangy, emerald eyed hessian let a soft smirk play along his otherwise emotionless face as his emerald eyes travelled from one wolf to another, stopping at his leader. His tail was lowered and his posture neutral, but he gave the miss a nod nevertheless, since it wouldn't do to be rude.

ooc: gah! sorry about crap :) I'm sitting in a car, next to a shack in the woods... ^.^ I'll be here for 3 weeks T.T
