Tallynne couldn’t help but laugh. But she crosses the space to give O Melhor a nuzzle. She’d heard trite lines before, but being lonely together was a good one.
“Well,” she says. “Being lonely would imply that we wouldn’t see one another. I don’t really like the sound of that.” She looks at the coffee pelted stallion. He seems sweet - she has to wonder if he’s ever been with a woman before. Not like she’s had much experience herself. She’s still quite innocent in such matters - and her heart hadn’t fluttered like this before.
But she is going to take it as an invitation. And she’s grateful for it.
“But if you’re inviting me to stay,” Tallynne says. “I would gladly do just that.”
