Noor seemed to consider Ryu's question for a long moment as they padded along, her pretty face wearing a thoughtful look. She'd been traveling for some time before she'd arrived here, she had barely been an adolescent when she'd left her homelands, and now she had grown into herself, a pretty young teen. You never forgot your motherland, though, and Noor's slender muzzle gained a wistful, sweet smile as she reminisced. "It was hot," she said simply, with a little laugh. "And dry. A desert land, but there were fields of tall grass and acacia trees here and there... I miss it, I think," she mused simply, with a bit of a shrug. "But it was time for me to leave."

She hoped she didn't make him wonder about her; nothing bad had happened, she had just felt the call of youth and adventure and had decided to make her own way in the wide world around her. Soon they were upon the den and she was in awe, tail wagging quickly in a rather unladylike and puppish fashion; it was more endearing than embarrassing, her sheer joy at the vision of flowers and lush oasis before her. "It's beautiful," she managed, overexcited as she took it all in, unsure of whether she'd said so already or not.

The slender, foreign fem stood gazing a little while longer, though Ryu soon drew her attention as he made his way to the riverbank. Swift, new bodies of water had her a little uneasy, though she nodded at his words, padding closer with slight hesitance, her perked ears pinned back slightly unsurely... She knew, somewhere, that she could trust the ginger-pelted brute, and the more exciteable, outgoing part of her told her to listen to him. With a quick inhale she stepped into the river as well, yipping faintly at the cold before giving an embarrassed, sheepish smile. Wading a little further, she came to meet him, paddling about with him with surprising grace for someone who wasn't used to swimming. She loved the weightless feeling the action gave her, and enjoyed herself in silence for a moment before turning to Ryu with a faint smile. "What are your brother and sister like?" she asked curiously, eager to know more about her charming companion.
