The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
SELF-MEDICATED

The mare didn’t know what she was going to do. Encantador had left her with an open invitation, sure, but there also seemed to be something she was missing about him. Yes… something odd. It was probably that exactly that drew the roan mare towards the hot, dry island. She’d stopped and asked directions, of course. This place was so strange, such an odd archipelago. Each island was its own world… how confusing it would be in time.

Scratch that. She did know what she was going to do. Without much more than a second thought she marched into the sea and made her way towards the Desert. If nothing else she’d serve to shake things up a bit. That was what a creature like her, so fond of things falling apart, was here for.

Actually, it wasn’t even a fondness for things falling apart. It was more something she was used to—everything she touched fading to black. Not like it wasn’t alright with her, of course. It had become a sort of “whatever” deal. Asphyxia had become, as of late, far too numb to care for much else. Then again, nothing was coming close enough to reach out and take hold to. Nothing was really clear in the life she was living, and that was okay. The great wild unknown? Yeah, she was putting up with that bitch.

So, she thought after heaving herself from the sea this is it. Not like this place was much to look at. Maybe she should turn around and march back into the sea, just as proud as she was when she entered. No. Asphyxia wasn’t a coward—she’d take this one as it came. She’d see the look on that strange, wannabe charming creature’s face when he saw her standing on the shoreline, staring back at him in askance. If it turned out to be a mistake after all, there was always the option of that sea march. It would be alright.

She's totally giving Canta a hard time... but I love him, so she's stuck with him.
