I don't believe in love

'Razvan, forgive me.'

The moment her eyes had closed, she had soon drifted into a deep slumber, though vaguely aware at the water lapping at her knees. Images haunted and tormented her mind, and she twitched slightly as if having a bad dream, which it was. Two years it has been alright, but his death weighed heavy on her, and the loss of a child had made it worse. Her little Razvan look alike, Styrke. He was gone also, and it was her fault. If only she knew he was here though, among the islands with her grandchild Rade, but sadly she had no clue and the whole thing has left her withered and lonely.

Could it be loneliness that had led to her betrayal? or the fact she felt with safe with the desert stallion? This would be another thing that would constantly bug her. Was she simply playing around with Canta? using him to get over Razvan or was it something more. The red mare didn't know. Her feelings were everywhere at the moment, she was an emotional mess.

Her body gave a small shudder, and as her eyes slowly opened, the thick stench of a familiar stallion filled her nostrils, and she snapped her head around at the same time he almost ran her off. She lowered her ears in displeasure, and gave a quick shake of her head. He had stirred up the sand around her. Peering up at him, she couldn't help but smile, but it was a sad one. "You squeal like a girl." she chuckled, and moved to her knees, pushing herself up.

Flicking her ears toward him, she examined his healthy frame, maybe trying to pick out some reason she had let him breed her, the reason she had come back. Sadly, she couldn't find one. Sighing, she let her head droop, exhaustion written all over her bony body.

"Why so surprised Canta? after what we did....you should have known i'd return." just like a puppy. Sure the puppy may stray, but it always came running back." feel no regret, but feel happy you are the one to care for me now in my state. Razvan would be happy." Now she wasn't sure on that last part, but her old painted stallion had trusted this man, and she also trusted him. It could be the start of a good life..
