Little mountain of mine, Fayte and any

She left the Falls, confused. The stallion in the Commons hadn't followed her and instead perched his head high and walked away. Personally, she wondered if acting as a ninja was a bad idea. But he didn't seem very nice, so many that was a point for her. Already she had made up with Ivan, stirring heat to her face when she thought of him, even if she couldn't blush. She felt alone all over again, but only because she felt she had made a bad choice. With Earthshine as his love and all, she wondered if he was tore. Those three words could've turned everything around, in a bad way.

The chestnut mare didn't wish to get between the pale stallion and his love, but it seemed like she had. Although she left right away before she could hear his response, she feared the worse. Perhaps Earthshine would force Ivan to kick her out of the herd? Or maybe he would kick her out before it came to that. Instead of going back to the Hills, Acorn knew she needed to go apologize to her friends in the Forest, Fayte. She hoped her words earlier hadn't forced the chestnut mare to leave. The Bondurant fellow was probably nice enough to her, plus Acorn hadn't scented anyone else in the Forest when she visited. Perhaps the two were lovers? The thought reminded Acorn of the days after she had made up with Ivan. Hopefully a nice foal would be on the way soon.

She left the Falls and headed into the ocean, thoughts still dancing in her mind. So many things had happened lately, it was as though she was trapped in a whirlpool, being spun around and around again. Her thoughts had begun their smooth jig once she had left Ivan after they made up. She had barely had time for sleep, worries filling her mind to the brim and granting her insomnia. Hopefully she would be cured when all the events came to a stop and she was able to relax. Her legs pumped and soon she could see the island peering out of the island coming closer. She could see the forest, rising clear of the other areas. She was surprised to see flat land beside and behind the Forest, where next to it was another shady spot, full of brambles it seemed. She snorted, mentally noting to go explore it sometime.

The chestnut mare pulled out of the water, excited to see her blanketed friend. It would be nice to break from her thoughts and go where it didn't matter. Perhaps she could meet her friend's lover(?), Bondurant. As Acorn approached the forest line at a light trot, she could smell new scents. The smell of mare flooded her, barely letting her scent the stallion's smell. She tossed her mane and flared her nostrils. Much had happened, leaving Acorn plenty of others to meet and make friends with. But what about Fayte?

The mix nickered and entered into the Forest, hoping to find her friend.
