The white and black patched wolfess kept her golden yellow eyes peeled for further movement. And there it was. She kept her gaze locked onto Aster, and by the smell of him, now that he was in full view and his scent on obstructed by the brush as much, it was definitely clear he was from Ice. Ice might not hold a grudge, but the leaders of her pack did. Well, Ana corrected her own train of thought. Achilles did. The rest of the rankings did what they felt necessary for Fire. Sometimes that meant listening to the Alpha, even if you didn't completely agree. The fem personally did not agree with killing anyone from Ice or doing harm to them. She'd been through enough pain in her younger days to want to dish it out on others. That's why she was a Healer, and a Healer for Fire.
Ana had grown a great deal in terms of confidence and what she was capable. If she wanted, the black and white fae could have easily left Fire. Yet, it didn't feel right to leave. The family she had was there. It was, in her mind, a strong goal to prove that Fire was not just a cruel place. This seemed the perfect place to start for her. Ana noticed his tone was a bit guarded. No doubt he was not thrilled with what her pack had done. She hoped he didn't want any answers for that. Ana had very few, and none that would live up to any standard of those who demanded them.
With his emergence, she managed a smile. "See, we aren't all that scary," Ana said. Her gaze drifted momentarily to the feather about his neck. It was a curiosity, as the black patched wolf did not know the significance of it. This was a start.
