Cosmos was too ignorant to have heard the wolf before. Well, deep in thought, about... Well... Everything, you could say. Mars, the universe, the Big Bang. Everything that you could say- was important. Well, at least to Cosmos it was. Everything was a big word, but the black and white hued wolf knew how it all started, how the first blue suns were created, how earth itself was created. Now, life was a completely different matter. No one really knows how life really started, and thus Cosmos didn't know that either.
Well, he could say all that, yet there was only one thing he was obsessed with. Time. But that's not what he was thinking about at the time. Now he was being brushed against and spoken to by an odd wolf. The one infront of him had the same type of eyes, except one emerald instead of Cosmos navy blue. He waited for the wolf too fully finish before speaking. "Yes, if only, if only. But the bark will never become soft as the sky. And I will never be able to fly. Not into space, not through time. Though neither of those possibilities are impossible for the right creature."
Cosmos grinned slightly. "When I look into the night sky, I see space. I see the stars, and the planets. I see constellations that the Romans and Greeks gave us. I am an Astronomer, not an Astrologist." Now he frowned, the wolf before him didn't seem at all kind. Now Cosmos had said all this, yet many wolves call him an Optimist. But, Cosmos was also a realist at times. Like now. Yes, he wanted to visit the universe, to be able to set paw onto the Moon, or Mars. But that wasn't going to happen, and if it did ever happen, it wouldn't be to him.
