Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Khaos

no matter how much i said to myself that i disliked the predawn silence, i knew it wasn't true. that short time before the sun came up, when the whole world seemed to be enveloped in slumber, was probably one of my favorite times of day. i was right at the mouth of the den watching for sunrise, just after i had tripped. i knew it was moments away from happening because time stopped. this was the second before the sun broke on the horizon, when the entire universe collectively held its breath. i hadn't realized that i'd been holding my own breath until the pinkish huses of sunrise showed their face and i let it out. this all spanned no more than a second.

my golden lanterns were still on the colorful sky when a short fit of laughter hit my towers, sounding extra loud in the silence of morning. it seemed to have come from above me and my skull snapped up. my eyes hit the cliffs just in time to see pebbles falling and, more importantly, which crag they fell from. in an instant i was on my paws, facing the cliffs, with a savage growl erupting from my throat. my orbs, which had only a moment ago been peaceful, now burned with rage at being snickered at. i loped to the ledges and jumped on. my slim yet tall frame made me a fine tuned instrument for speed and agility. with that, i darted from platform to platform with ease.

finally out of the corner of my eye i spotted a wolf. in a sudden motion, i flung my bodice to the left and over the large gap. my coat was no more than a blood-red blur with a cream streak and a golden splotch. i landed gracefully on the rock, a soft thud accompanying my arrival. though i had become stationary, the breeze of my movement kept going. it blew right past me, tousling my silky fur. i stood frozen in place with my gaze locked on the wolf, a brute i now realized. my lip lifted up so high, it not only revealed razor sharp daggers but the pink of my gums as well. though i had gone through the trouble of getting up here, i didn't utter so much as a syllable to the boy. i just stood there, watched him, and waited for a reaction or words or something from him.
