I am a keyworker to a child who's parents are Deaf and want to learn basic conversation (Hello, how are you/isn't it a lovely/cold day etc.)also and more importantly phrases to communicate with them about how the child has been at preschool and what he has been doing. I have looked at the list of phrases shown as on the CD, are these all of them, as only a few would be relevant to me e.g. How are you? I am looking to say things like "He has had a fun time/he has built a ____/done a lovely painting/played with the_______/played with another child/he fell over and hurt his kneww but is OK/please can you sign the accident book/enjoyed story time today etc. etc. Please can you advise if this CD will help or refer me to any alternative sources of information, thank you so much.
