Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Seiki just stared at the skeleton, the bones covered herself with a white cloak made with wolf pelt; or that’s how it looked in Seiki’s eyes. The girl confused her, she babbled on about stars and blaming stuff on them; how she never stopped talking, how they danced around a bonfire? Seeing your face when it rained. She could hear the voice and what she was saying but everything just went in one ear and came out the other; she couldn’t comprehend any of what the fragile and innocent child was saying. The skeleton also oddly looked at Seiki, she had a look of confusion in the smile, it wasn’t strong though, but it was like a vine twisting around her face. Any it was like she had an imaginary friend with her, who irritated her. Seiki was confused; was something wrong with this girl, well actually there probably was. It was either that or she hadn’t grown up yet. If only she could talk, try to get a straight answer out of her without the cloaked skeleton trailing off into a totally different topic. Why did she do this and what did he do? Was she delusional? Who knew?

What the heck was wrong with this wolf? Well, she didn’t really seem like a wolf, it seemed as if she was just a skeleton seeing hallucinations and odd things that seemed normal to them but in reality it would be completely weird. An expression of pure confusion (not to mention a little bit of fright.) spreading across her face. Was she mentally ill, was she blocking out reality (by the looks of it, Seiki sensed her reality was cruel; many bruises were planted on her pelt.) by confusing herself and making her reality a little less cruel, or perhaps she was just plain weird; interesting but weird. Seiki didn’t know what to do; she couldn’t talk to her, she couldn’t say anything comforting or anything sweet, nice, pleasant. Seiki stood and looked at her; her expression was softening before she moved off a bit away from the skeleton. She didn’t know what to do; all she could do is sit and listen to her babbling on and on and on. That is why she retreated back to sitting in front of her again. Oh dear, it looked like she had her work cut out here then. Help, Seiki thought.

A butterfly flew overhead, its wings fluttered angelically quickly. Its wings had a strong colour of blue but around it was a border of black. It also had darker spots of blue, imitating eyes probably. Deciding it would land, the angel in a bug form settled on the grass a few centimetres away from Seiki. She reached down slowly to sniff it, but took back startled as it exploded up from the ground. “Uh.” She heaved before chuckling a cough up. She watched it thoughtfully with a small smile; how beautiful it was. ‘You have beautiful eyes.’ She snapped back into reality. The girl had complimented her eyes; how sweet. A larger smile settled across her mandible, it was sweet and it was nice and it was pleasant. She felt happier, why, because she was complimented. Her body rose once again and reaching over she gently touched her nose to the skeletons forehead. “Thanks.” She croaked, wincing at the burning sensation she had to experience.

Ouch, that had to hurt; Seiki ceased some sort of rodent in her jaws, killing it at quickly as possible. She dropped it down at the skeleton’s paws. Since she listened mostly, she had heard rustling in the dried ashes of the field; she had caught it for the girl, because she was far too skinny for her liking.

Sometimes there are things in our life that aren’t meant to stay. Sometimes change may not be what we want. Sometimes change is what we really need. And sometimes saying goodbye is the hardest thing you think you’ll ever have to do, but sometimes it’s saying ‘hello again’ that breaks you down and makes you the most vulnerable person you’ll ever know. Sometimes change is too much to bear, but most of the time change is the only thing saving your life. (- a quote from somewhere I do not know.)
