Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Looking in the mirror,
At this invisible face,
This soul has vanished,
Without a trace,

Only the memories,
When left behind,
And still I morn,
For a love I cant find,

A soul that was happy,
Now lives in strife,
Walking in the shadows,
Of my empty life,

Should I end it all,
Or try to be strong?
Its doesn't matter,
You wouldn't notice if I was gone,

Was my heart fooled?
By life's deceiving lies,
Come back to me,
Wipe these tears from my eyes,

Bleeding for the truth,
Struggling to find your heart,
But you don't feel the way I do,
And its riping my apart,

But until my soul is found,
I will never let you know,
You,ll have my heart forever,
But I have to let you go.

How long had he been gone? A couple of months? A year? The crimson varg had slowly lost count. Day's slipped by without meaning. Sitting and thinking of where things went wrong. If he'd done this, if he'd changed that. It was to late for nothing more then what ifs. There was no going back now. No fixing past mistakes. There was only now. Living with this burden. The burden of knowing he ruined everything, for more then himself. If he hadn't left, if he hadn't gone with his gut feeling, he'd still be an alpha. Now he was a dethroned king. Someone had stolen his title while he left. And for what? All he did was stir up new nightmares. Nightmares of the past. But it was his fault. He just had to go back. He was faced with something far larger then he could ever imagine. Something left for him, straight from Hell. Was it a punishment for some sin he'd unknowingly committed? How was he to know that some of his pack survived the fire. He'd have gone back for them. But now there was no saving them. Family and friends twisted into a psychotic rage. Having lost all sanity long ago.Skinny, mangy, and rabid creatures. Kryptonite was just to good a wolf thinking he could save them. Extending a helpful paw to those whom wanted to chew it off. In time the he began to realize there was no hope. There was nothing left.

It had taken what seemed like forever to get back to Blossom. In that time everything had set in. Then came the realization he lost the only thing he had left, Cold Summers. There was nothing he could do about it. Should he fight for it back there's no way they'd accept him. He left. They were better off without him. Now he was damned to wander the shadows of Blossom. He was a lost soul. The varg had changed, never to be the same. Not that anyone would care. He was a nobody, an enigma to the world. Death seemed like a way out. He could visit his family down in Hell. But there was one thing keeping him from this fate. Someone that kept his emotions a blur. A girl. One who shared many things that he did. There was a connection that had been formed the second they met. He wanted to get closer to her. That girl was Kushina. The one he bumped into in the cave. One of his former pack mates. Though he couldn't go find her. What would she think? How could he show his face? Yet he wanted to be with her. Wanted her to see what he'd become.

Thunder rolled through the forest. Flashes of lightning broke the endless darkness. The night sky covered by a blanket of grey. Rain poured down. By now the crimson demon was soaked to the bone. Shaking from the swift fluctuation in temperature. Some wolves scurried about in the rain. Kryptonite stayed out of sight, hidden in the darkness. He moved like a ghost. Wandering. The varg had no destination. Simply walking in the night to not be found in the morning. Large paws splashed in pools of water. At one point he stopped, looking down in a pool. His reflection lay there, muffled by rain drops. The burn mark looked even more distorted then usual. Kryptonite swiped the image away and took off. Angry tears rolling down his face. He was confused and in a haze. Running from all the demons that haunted him. With one heavy step he felt his feet slip out from under him. Slipping and falling down. Sliding in the mud before stopping himself on a tree. Slowly he stood back up, soaked and covered in mud. You almost couldn't recognize him through all the mud, luckily the rain washed it away. Shaking himself off he stalked away. More then a little frustrated. Before long he stumbled upon something. Something big.

Rainbow cliff. Green eyes looked up unable to see the top of the cliff. At the time it seemed like a good idea. He began to climb up the cliff, slow and steady. It was hard to see each step but so far he hadn't missed. Occasionally he would slip because of the wet stone, but nothing along the lines of falling off. Soon he was over half way up. Kryptonite stumbled up to a gap between two ledges. The only way across was to jump. Risky. But if he wanted to get to the top he'd have to jump. Krypto circled back before taking off towards the jump. Springing forward he lept across the opening. As he landed his back legs slipped off and over the edge. Rocks sliced into his chest and belly. A yelp was muffled by thunder. Front legs held on for dear life while back legs scrambled to get a foot hold. What seemed like an eternity was actually just a couple of seconds. The crimson varg found some foot holds and scrambled up the ledge. With all four paws on solid rock he fell over and let out a sigh of relief. Kryptonite had to take his time to compose himself before setting out again, plus his belly stung from the cuts. Slowly the crimson brute rose and stalked off as the rain poured down heavily. Continuing on would be dangerous and going back was out of the question. Silently he looked around. He was in luck, there was a small cave nearby. He could wait till mornings light to continue. Trotting over he found the cave to be uninhabited, perfect. It was dry and the temperature was slightly warmer inside. Shaking all the water from his beautiful red pelt the boy laid down on dry rock. Looking out he watched the light show over blossom. Thunder echoing through the cave. Soon he would sleep. Then in the morning he would continue to the top of rainbow cliff.
