There was a lot of movement... Too much. The fox marked wolf shut his eyes against the confusion that was slowing his mind, focusing on working his ears. They swiveled, flicked, turning back and forth as he took in the sounds around him and allowed his well developed hearing to show him what his eyes couldn't.

She had been laughing more, that was the loudest sound in the area. But behind that, the gentle rustle of grasses and what sounded like a flowering plant telling by the soft, silky sound of petals. It was almost a rocking motion, possibly she was rolling. And then a sneeze, the sudden burst of sound causing the blind brute to jump slightly, but not in a frightened manner There was the soft thud of legs hitting the ground and then footfalls, a smile stretching further over the brute's face as he realized she was traveling toward him.

Nastrix wasn't sure whether to back up or not as she began to bound toward him, ears laying back slightly in his discomfort of trying to understand her speed and trajectory. Luckily for him, she stopped before she reached the water, about a meter and a half still left between them. He swished his tail gentle through the water as she greeted him, his ears perking back up at the pleasant tones she carried.

"I'm Nastrix," the black marked chestnut wolf announced back, voice lifted and a charming smile crossing his face. He gave his head an neck a good shake, the sound of a dog tag slinking down a ball chain ringing slightly in his ears as it surfaced itself from the thick white fur at the base of his neck and settled to hang and twist. The bright metal caught in the sun, light bouncing off the human scripted plate as it began to slow its bouncing twists.

"It's hot," the brute stated, letting his mouth gape open slightly and tongue loll out as he began to pant once more. It was just something he couldn't get around, needing to release the hot air from his body to cool himself. "Sorry," he apologized, wishing he could be a bit more kept in his manners. "I've been trying to keep cool in the river, but that sun.. If you step into it, you just can't help it. Crazy heat wave, you know?"
