Calla had made it to the den with little Brynn trailing behind her. She was happy with her and Syndr's pups, even though one had a lame leg. They were all perfect. Calla noticed that Syndr and the pups hadn't made it yet, she wondered where they were. Then she Rayne and Smokey appearing next to him a few seconds later. Brynn saw them too and ran towards them. Then she pounced on Rayne. Calla went over to them and saw Syndr and Kalamata across the river. Kala probably can't cross she thought.

Brynn was trailing behind Mom sniffing the ground, learning her new home. She was excited to see her brothers. She wanted to play with them but Kala probably wouldn't be able to. She saw Smokey and Rayne up ahead and decided to go with them. As soon as she was close, she pounced on Rayne. She growled playfully at him, not noticing Dad and Kala on the other side of the river.
