During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

This was a time to celebrate. That annoying little bitch was finally out of his hair. Dark thoughts ran through his mind as he thought of the pup Kobato, the only female to totally turn him inside out without even trying. She was like some oblivious demon, walking into his pack and making him look like a fool in front of a packmember. An ebon eyebrow twitched annoyingly at the thought. No, no more thinking of that stupid girl; it seemed she had finally wandered off to get killed elsewhere. Good for her. Yet a little twinge of pain burned in his gut. Sad she had gone? As if. But maybe he was getting the slightest bit attached to the little one. She was the most exciting thing that had happened to this place under his rule.

His thoughts where cast aside like a cloak when a splash of distant water hit his auds. An instant found him on his paws, dark form erect and searching for the origin of the sound. Serris was quite protective of his water. This boy would die in that languid flow if he had any say in it. Muzzle searching, the Alpha finally scented a strange musk from outside the territory, pouring from the location of the disturbance. A newcomer? Or simply a passing soul angered at his own reflection? The silver-laced brute stood tense, every hair upon his pelt jumping with electricity. Every minute slid like molasses down his back as the stranger remained, odor neither growing stronger nor fainter, although it was hard to tell from his vantage near the center of the pack. Then a screeching howl shattered the atmosphere and he sprung instantly, streaking through the pack.

He pulled up close to his target though, finding another scent closing in. Devil’s Angel. Ah, that little mistress was always lurking around, wasn’t she? She had been around long before his time, something to be commended since the rule of Munashii had never been a constant matter. Until him. A smirk slid across his features as he knew he’d have this land for a loooong time. No bastard could take away his throne. So, gliding to a stop, Serris allowed his Omega to reach the recruit first. Let her have a little bit of fun; it was dead around here, afterall.

The dark boy slid forward, every muscle aiming to conceal his presence. Waiting for the next breeze, he flicked his auds about to try and catch any passing zephyr. When one of his sentries flicked involuntarily, he noted the direction and made his way downwind. He circled in a wide arc around the pair, not close enough to see the action but not far enough that he couldn’t hear. As of right now, though, no subtle words had reached him. Had the newcomer fled? No, his musk still lingered on the border. Crossing the invisible line himself, Serris situated his frame into a thick shrub, perfectly downwind and ready to observe. Not only would it provide him with entertainment, it would also let him observe Angel and get a read on this newcomer. And still, no words broke the tense atmosphere.

Then words came, quite distant that he had to strain to hear and made out few. The first lyrics made him worried though. They sounded juvenile, and the last thing he wanted around this place was another bloody pup. Perhaps he was just mistaken though. A longer phrase, this coming from his warrior. Then a chuckle and more un-decodable words. Growing impatient, the regal stalked forward slightly, making his way back to the territory line. Sounds of shuffling this time, then possibly a whisper? Although it was too hard to tell apart from the murmur of the trees. Finally words he could make out, if only barely, with the boy calling himself Consecro and asking for that of the maiden’s. Serris couldn’t hold back a slight chuckle. Oh, this lad was walking a dangerous line toying with her like that. But maybe she enjoyed the banter as well; it was quite hard to tell what was going on behind that emotionless mask.

Lost in his musings, the Commander was slightly startled when a loud howl shattered the air, cascading from Devil’s Angel. Ah, she had not picked up on his presence? Fair enough though, he had been doing everything he could to appear absent. Oh well, time to go to work. Righting himself and curling his silver-laced banner about his spine, Serris set off at a leisurely walk, knowing he was close enough to adopt this slow a pace. He must say though that he was terribly surprised when he entered sight of the pair, tracing his way along the border. The male was… missing a few parts. Almost as if his parents had skipped a few steps when reading the ‘How To Assemble A Wolf’ book. No paw, no tail, no ear. And he thought he could make it in this devilish land. A sneer slide onto his ebon features, letting the boy know how he felt. He entered with a low growl, meant as a greeting for his subordinate and a greeting for his guest.

“Wow sweetie, looks like you’ve finally found your match.” An eyebrow raised at the jest he personally found hilarious. A glance to Consecro made sure the boy didn’t take it as a compliment. Coming up alongside the fatale, Serris shot her a question burning in his aqua portals. It was serious, and he expected a serious answer. What did she think of this cripple? Surely she had tested him before calling the Alpha. He valued her opinion; afterall, what was a monarch without the faithful word of his subjects? He lingered, waiting for whatever answer she gave, then turned his crown to the scarred hessian. “My name is Serris, and I would hope you know my position in these lands. I must say your first impressions aren’t… the greatest, but we shall see what you can offer. What I do wish to see right now, though, is the sweet curve of that belly of yours.” An eyebrow raised, almost a trademark by now. It was only fair to have the boy submit at their feet. And see if he can get up. A silent smirk crossed his features, gone the second it came.

OOC: Never fear, Serris is here! :D Excuse him today, he's in a bit of a mood. xD
