You've Stolen My Heart

Mare - Lusitano - Palomino - 15.3hh - 5

It was lonely here in the ridge. It was just her and the rain right now.

After her horrible experience of trying to get up to the Ridge itself for the first time, she's dug up enough courage to actually go up and down the path by herself, but only when it stops raining, which it hasn't, so she's been rather stuck on the lower lands. Everyone was probably still in the heart of her home, and it pained her that she couldn't join them. Before she might have risked that rocky path again, but with the growing size of her already rounded, and slightly swollen barrel, she wasn't going to risk her young one's life. This was to be her second child, and hopefully it was a girl, since after Jabberwocky, she was washing her hands of colts.Nothing but trouble, she smartly thinks.

Now back to the rain. Oh her wonderful friend the rain was hurriedly pelting her to death as she walked along the shore shivering and shaking. She had been looking for her friend Larka, hoping the girl had returned at last, but she's had no luck. She was simply stuck with grumpy old pierce, who was also gone, meaning Ali truly was alone. Or was she?

Her ears perked up at the soft voices of others, though it was hard to tell with the sound of rain dropping in her ears. She neared the small group after a few minutes, and her eyes looked to the painted mare, the pale shaped one and the smoky grullo. They seem friendly enough, she thinks, having already formed their little group.

Sending a friendly nicker to them, she picks her legs into a fast trot which closes the distance between them and her. She stops in front of them with a warm smile, but it may be hard to see through all this rain. Her golden locks were plastered against her neck, and it saddened her that her tail was soaked and trailing on the ground behind her. It was probably all dirty which wasn't sitting well for the golden lady, but she was here to make friends, not worry over her looks. Her hormones were a little off at the moment.

During another sweep of her eyes, she catches the small disfigurement of the pale girl, and suddenly she remembers of what Jabber was telling her. " I heard that this pretty lass has spent time with my sons. I hope they were on their best behavior?" She chuckles, knowing full well Balder had more manners than his slightly older brother Jabber.

"I'm Aliyana." and with that, she gives a simple nod.
