Akhilleus liked Traydon River. It was one of the best places for him to hunt. The fish were always abundant, and he'd mastered catching them. The slender, almost decrepit looking wolf wasn't as strong as most, so it was difficult for him to do certain things. Hunting by himself was among them. The dusty grey male had been /blessed/ with a muscle deficiency at birth. He knew little of why, but his siblings were also similarly afflicted with loss of sight or hearing, or both. His great-grandmother said it had something to do with his father, but never elaborated.

In the end, Akhilleus quit pressing the matter. He had survived, but he looked almost sickly at times. It also wasn't uncommon for him to just collapse from exhaustion if he accidentally over exerted himself when he ran or swam. His pale blue eyes drifted about the area. Things were quiet to day it seemed. Aristoteles was still hanging about Coral Flower, gathering many of the flowers for the grey male's den. The scent of the flowers was relaxing and when his joints ached, especially in the winter, they helped him from being in too much pain. Akhilleus was glad to have the duality dragon so close when he needed help. And Bear was always willing to try when he could, and that made him feel better. A smile creased the male's maw as he eased his way into the shallow water. It was cool today, just among the first signs fall was going to be arriving soon. His tail waved slightly. Spring and Fall were the best times of year for him. He stepped out a bit more, watching his step as well as making sure he didn't move where the current was too strong for him. Akhilleus kept his pale blue eyes on the water, watching intently and waiting for the perfect moment to strike at the right fish.
