During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Alright you two, I'm sorry I have to say this to you both, but I feel like your spamming my board.

I mean, yes it's good to get posts in and get tons of things done with your characters, but having 5 or 6 posts just describing you waiting for Serris seems a bit... much. I see and realize you both have a lot of time on your hands right now, but please realize that I do not. Just because I didn't reply within an hour does not mean I am simply putting the post off and being lazy somewhere else.

I never intended for Serris to be late, but now that you two have dragged this thread down this many posts and acted like your wolves were waiting a long time, I will have to create some reason for him to show up tardy. And while that is not a big deal, what bugs me is the fact that you are taking away part of the creative freedom that I write with. Maybe I wanted to have Serris waiting in the bushes watching them return. But I was out driving and doing homework today, so I didn't have time to reply when you guys first came back to the borders.

Yes, I'm in a bit of a crabby mood about this, but I don't mean to be harsh. Yes, I do like the activity in my pack, but to me this seems a bit excessive. Rush, I know you, but softball, you are new here and new to me so I cannot make any judgements on whether you did this on purpose or just wanted to get your characters up and out in the world. I am guessing the latter. Despite, you have to remember to please be respectful to the other players who have other things to get to throughout the day, especially a more advanced player like myself who takes quite a bit of time to write her posts. You can have your wolf waiting for a long time, that's fine and that's your personal and creative choice. But I feel like you are trying to blame it on my not replying soon enough.

Bottom line, please, both of you chill out a bit. Serris will be up tomorrow afternoon when I get home from school, and I really don't think that's an unreasonably long time to wait. Also, I do want to have a pack meeting with the meat you just brought back, but I need time to think about what is going to happen and plan out some pre-ranks. I feel like you're rushing me into a meeting, and I don't want to feel obligated to write up a crappy post just to keep up with your tempo.

I'm sorry if this sounded harsh. I do not mean to yell at you both or tell you that what you are doing is wrong, I just would like you to keep in mind that other players cannot post as often as you can. Waiting half a day for a good post is better than writing many, tiny, rushed posts that get the storyline nowhere and, in some cases, makes your character seem a bit shallow (in my opinion).

Alright, I'm gonna stop before I write any more, since I really do need to go to bed. Sorry for this guys, but I just needed to get that out to you. I would still love to have both of you in the pack, just please be a little more patient.

EDIT: Also, now that I think of it. Softball, I feel like you are powerplaying the slightest bit. If you don't know what that is, powerplaying is making other characters do things that they didn't actually do. For instance, when you say the bushes rustled and Serris was coming, that could be interpreted as powerplaying. I, as the owner and writer of Serris, did not SAY that he came rustling through the bushes. Maybe I had wanted Serris to come another route, maybe through a clearing or along the border. Maybe he had circled around the back just to surprise them. There were a million things I could have done with Serris that didn't include the rustle in the bush. That, in my mind, is powerplaying. Also, your saying that Serris is late is also a bit of powerplay. Real, human time does not apply in this rpg. So three days between posts could be the blink of an eye in Blossom time. So, when you wrote that Serris was late, that takes away my writer's freedom. Please understand this. I do realize you are new, and I am just trying to help you. I did the same thing when I first started. Please don't powerplay. Especially not with an Alpha. We're a bit overly-protective of our characters and our packs.
