Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

How lonely is the night without the howl of the wolf? {TERREL}
IP: 80.192.168.9

Although Channing had been a part of Blossom Forest for a while now she still hadn’t explored all the different places that surrounded Saw Tooth. Terrel had disappeared from the pack meeting and although she had tried to find him, he hadn’t made an appearance and since Channing had left the meeting and poor Keyna to whatever fate lay in waiting she didn’t feel like going back. Instead she took a long and lonely trek to wherever her paws decided to take her.

It was a bit of a dull day. The sun had hidden itself behind the clouds as the lass had left the meeting and wasn’t planning on revealing itself any time soon. It wasn’t all bad though; the cooler weather made it better for walking and prevented the lass from getting hot and sticky, which would have been no fun at all. Channing passed some of the places she had visited before. Leisure Lake looked as radiant as ever but this time the femme wanted to see somewhere new. She paused for a while as she watched the wolves laughing and playing in the cooling liquid before carrying on her journey to lands unknown.

The next place she passed was the Cavern of Secrets. This time she paused for longer as memories of Shadow rushed back to her. She had grown close to Shadow and had helped him out of the Cavern and start a new life. Hey, she had even helped him join Saw Tooth. In reality Channing thought he was the ‘one’ but one day he just vanished. Channing had spent weeks searching for him, trying to pick up his scent but nothing. It was as if he had just completely disappeared off the face of the earth. It hit the female hard, but if she hadn’t lost Shadow she would never have found Terrel.

As if by magic, the lass found herself at Staircase Falls, the exact place she had found the frightened little pup. A smile grew on her face as she pictured her little man when she first laid eyes on him. He was so small and clumsy and polite and from the exact moment she met him she knew their lives would be intertwined forever.

Even though this place held so many memories her brain urged her paws to walk on, she wasn’t staying here. The further she walked the more the scenery changed. Staircase falls and Leisure Lake were places of water. Cavern of Secrets was a place of mystery and danger but this scenery was different. Channing had never been here before but it intrigued her. She found herself in a field full of flowers. A gentle breeze ruffled the ess’ fur as she padded through the flowers. So many smells washed through her nose but it didn’t last for long. After a while the pretty flowers turned into ash and soot. The land was scared and burnt by fire and a dreadful pain rumbled through the land. Although part of Blossom Forest’s history the lass did not like this part of the field so turned promptly and headed back to the flowers.

All in all it had taken her about an hour to wander slowly to this place but she had enjoyed looking back at many memories along the way, if only she had someone to share it with. Of course she loved Terrel more than anything in the world and she would love him dearly forever, but she still felt like something was missing. Channing sat on her haunches and looked around. It was a lonely and desolate place and she wished someone was here with her. Without hesitation the female lifted her cranium towards the sky and let out an almighty howl for her son. Hopefully he would hear and come running. She wanted to see him. To make sure he was okay and if she couldn’t find him, maybe he could come to her. Once the song had finished she brought her muzzle back down to face the ground. Everything went peaceful around the lass and in the glory of her surroundings she sat and waited.
