He nodded, a purr rumbling in his throat. The wolf smirked at her, an earnest look now apparent in his hungry gaze.

"Oh, yes. The absolute worst. Vixen, I know nearly every pain and sorrow in this forest. Perhaps in this world. Yet, I know more than sorrow. I know the tenderness towards a younger sister. I also know the hunger of one who has been craving something and has finally found it.."

His voice rang out in the cavern, his tail waving in the air.
