Tallynne smiled and continued with the grooming. At least he was here - that was the important part. She only really needed the company of her stallion. Though, she might have to go off exploring again - she wasn't a mare that could only have the birds.
"The birds are fine," She said. "I would like to have another around to talk to... but that's for later." She smiled at him. She had other exciting things to talk about - although it was obvious. "O Melhor... I do believe we will have company soon enough anyway."
A foal! She was sure of it! There was nothing else her belly and her hunger could explain. Nothing at all. And she was excited for it. She wanted to share that joy - she didn't realize that she was probably glowing with that young-mother's look. Perhaps that was why her bright pattern seemed even lighter.
